This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones AstroConnect uses, and how you can manage them.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (login, language, region) over time. Similar technologies (web beacons, pixels, local storage) work in a similar way.
These are necessary for the Services to function — for login, security, CSRF protection and basic navigation. Disabling them will break the Services.
| Cookie | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Login session | Session |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Cross-site request forgery protection | 2 hours |
| laravel_session | Server session storage | 2 hours |
These remember your preferences — selected language, dark mode, last-used sign in horoscope tool, etc.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage patterns. Data is anonymised. You can opt out by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
If you accept marketing cookies, we may use Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion pixels to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to show you relevant ads on other sites you visit. You can decline these via the cookie banner.
You can control cookies through your browser settings:
Note: Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from using the Services.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
